Hello friends... I know it's been a long time since my last post. I was hoping to catch up, but if I wait for that to happen it may be some more months. I decided to start fresh with the new year and hope to keep up to date even if it means posting with less captions.
 Happy New Year!

Starting the year with my nephews at the whispering arch.

Sometimes you enjoy a ball so much you forget to take pictures until the very end... and when you forget your camera

Our friend Lauren came to visit and upon her arrival we're off to go skating

Apparently the excitement on their faces wouldn't be the same if their feet were on the ground

Young Living classes are good reasons to get together with friends.
(If you're interested in knowing more about Young Living Essential oils you can email me at: fragranceoflife@ymail.com)

Helping do some demo on Michael and Rebekah's new house

And Samantha joins us for the final weekend... which also happened to be one of the warmest January days and the perfect day to tour St. Louis! I love friends that you can pick right back up where you left off years before.

and I loved being able to borrow Michaels camera for the day

Best little (yet not little) brother ever!

Matthew decided to test the ice and I kept waiting for him to fall through at any moment

His excuse to test it in the first place... a bale of hay "ruining the aesthetic view".  Turns out the hay was frozen down and wouldn't budge.

Of course it was then turned into a prop for photo shoots

One by one they slowly made their way out

Two more go out

They make me smile

I decided if it could hold all five of them at once, chances were good I wouldn't fall through so Matthew took over the camera

Meeting up with some friends for rock climbing

No... this wasn't posed

The blonde and brunette twins

Since I was still recovering from a cough I became guardian of the phones and other misc things

First time for them to see the Mississippi.

It was such a great time having you girls!

Enjoying some ping pong after a bit of theological discussion

First outside skating of the year

And I shall end the post with a picture of us at an 80's party. I gotta say, I'm so glad this isn't the style anymore. :-)
