Week 3 in Missouri ... with more baby pictures

Monday, May 18, 2009

As it is late, I will just say that if timed seemed to be going fast before, it seems even more so since William arrived. There just isn't enough time in a day for everyone to be able to hold him enough! He such a sweet, little, laid back, bundle of adorableness.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
For His honor and glory,
~Melanie

If you remember from the last post I was going to catch the others on their walk. Along the way I stopped to take some "art" shots

I walked most of the way and thought I would have met them so I turned around thinking they may have gone to see Miss Barbara. I decided to take pictures while I awaited their return and sat on the driveway till I saw them coming.

Micaiah was the first one that came along. He took the guitar to play as he walked :-)

Stopping to play a chord...

... and heading home.

All of a sudden Marscel came bombing around the corner.

Followed by Mom and the Lovebirds. It turned out I hadn't walked far enough... oh well.

We always thought that I was a lot taller then Jordan because he thought he was 5' 8"and a little and I was 5' 9"... turns out we are the same height. Though I have the advantage of being taller if I want by wearing different size shoes ;-)

As we were sitting watching Jane Eyre during a storm one of us looked outside as the sun was coming back out... though just on the top of the trees. It was really beautiful!

"And God said: "This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.""

Jordan found a copper head snake that he wanted to move farther from the house. As he moved the other car out of the way Micaiah sat on the bumper of the suv and took some pictures. For some reason the others thought this picture was funny.

I think this looks like a movie still with the lighting... and Micaiah says he doesn't know how to take pictures.

Thank you... from the bottom of my heart

The copperhead. I was so dissapointed that right after I took this picture the camera battery died. I was hoping to get some cool one of it in the woods... I guess we will have to find another. They are quite pretty even if they are poisonous.

"So where do you get your inspiration?" "Well... the Gusteau side I guess. It's always been in me." ~Ratatouille (paraphrased ;-) )

The boys went out on the atv's and were supposed to be back at a certain time. As you can see Jordan has his watch in hand showing that they made it back on time... well, close enough.

Getting together to celebrate another year of a wonderful person. Happy Birthday, Jeremy!

After celebrating with a delicious meal and asking Jeremy different questions about his life and favorite things we...

... watched the Celtics play. This was my first basketball game I've watched... and they lost. Maybe I shouldn't watch, they were doing so good.

Melissa opening some baby gifts and reading the baby it's first book. :-)

The baby is here! I think Jordan is still trying to comprehend it all... I know I am.

Finding out the stats that most people ask for. :-)

Being held by Daddy for the first time.

Don't mess with this guy. He keeps a good gaurd over the treasure.

Uh... Micaiah, that wasn't quite the treasure I was talking about.

Here is the treasure I was thinking of. William is not fond of the light in his eyes when he is trying to sleep. If he started to fuss and I pushed his hat over his eyes he would quite right down.

There's just something about pictures of littles ones sleeping on their father that I find so swe... I mean precious

Sweet William... in every sense of the word (The name of the flowers are sweet williams)

When he is awake he is very alert, looking all around barely ever crying

With a middle name like Locksley we thought robin Hood was an appropriate first movie :-)

During the remainder of the movie I had fun taking pictures of William in a basket that Kathy hand made.

A close up of the sleeping angel

Micaiah is an awesome chef and has been a great help in the kitchen. He made us some delicious blueberry pancakes the other morning.
